Happy "30" to Me!

Today was my 30th birthday! My friends that are over 30 told me I had finally arrived. They said I was in the club now. Well I was thinking it's just one more year to say I am 29 one more time! I did however take a moment today to reflect on all that has happened up till now in my life. I feel like it has been a lot. I also feel I am so blessed. I have a wonderful family, fabulous friends, and wrinkles to prove I have reached 3o! I had a great Day! My wonderful friends got together for a luncheon for my birthday and my friend Cheryl's birthday which was yesterday on the 18th. We enjoyed eating and watching the kids run around! Then I had a few more friends and family either call or stop by. It is always nice to be thought of! Thank you to everyone! Well to end the night Rick is making dinner. He really can be a good cook. Then Rick and I are going to watch a "Chick Flick" and eat Frozen Yogurt from Golden Spoon. It's great to be 30!

Mother Daughter Activity

We had a great time at the Mother Daughter activity that the
Activity Day girls put on. Jenna drew out of a hat what we were
supposed to dress up as. Lucky us, we got to be clowns! Jenna
and I were able to put on a silly clown act and strut our stuff.
We got a few laughs!

This was struting our stuff!

The Watkins dressed up as baby Pirates.
Wow! Look at those teeth. Marjorie really
needs a dentist!

Kristen and Mattison Thomas were detectives.
They had to solve the mystery of who stole the
Bishop's candy. The culprit was Lanae Watkins!
Way to crack the case Thomas's.

Brenda and Ari Beckes dressed up as
Safari people. They caught many bugs.
Don't they look great!

civilized baby pirates are.

Mother's Day!

Today was Mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mother's! My heart was so grateful today for the beautiful girls that I have. They really are God's gift to me here on earth. I hope I can be all that they need me to be as a mother.

Rick and the girls made the day special. I first of all was able to sleep in. This never happens, so it was a treat. Then I recieved breakfast in bed with cute little cards. Just to see the excitement on my girls faces was priceless. Brittany made a a scribble on a card. She was so proud. The girls gave me wonderful presents they made in school. I recived flower coupons and flower pens. I also got to sleep for three hours in the afternoon. I woke up to dinner being made. Then Rick attempted to make my favorite cake which is Oatmeal cake with carmel coconut frosting. He forgot to put in the flour. So the cake started burning. He started to doctor it up and put in back in the oven. Needless to say it turned out interesting. Bless Rick's heart he tried. What a sweet wonderful husband I have. To end the night we read scriptures. Brittany of course wants her own. She was looking at the pictures and found one of Jesus. I am always telling her Jesus loves her. She pointed to the picture and said, "Christ loves mommy". Right then was my teary eyed momment. I will remember this day.

Hayden Heros Carnival

Hayden had it's first school Carnival. It went really well. Much thanks goes
to the school's PTO Presidency which consists of 3 wonderful women in
our ward. I was also glad to help out recruiting volunteers. The girls had
a great time being silly with their dad. O.k. Rick always wants an opportunity
to be silly.

Like Father Like daughter.
Rick was having fun with the prizes the girls won.

The school had surprise visitors.
They were so excited!

Jenna couldn't stop laughing to play.
What a silly girl!
Mindy is learning how to be a pro golf player!

Field Day!

Field Day at Hayden Elementary is always fun!
Rick was able to come since he wasn't working.
The girls thought that was cool.

Mindy and her friend Leslie.

Mindy is really concentrating on the
water being poured in her cup.
She didn't want to get wet.

Great basketball stance Mindy!

Jenna secretly wants to drink that
water.

How low can you go!

Birthday's

We just had Brittany's and Mindy's Birthday. Brittany turned 3 on April 26th
and Mindy turned 7 on May 1st. Brittany had a castle cake. She was really
excited since she is into via princesses right now. It did however have a shaky
foundation. We ate it really quick!

A Island Princess Barbie!

Mindy is into Star Wars Characters. She got a Stars wars cake.
She could hardly beleive it. She loved it!

It's awesome to have a birthday!

I am so glad we could celebrate their birthday's. I am blessed.
I can't imagine my life without them.
